Charlie the Lonesome Cougar
Charlie is named for the famous 1967 Disney movie which was filmed on the Olympic Peninsula. Ron Brown, the star of the film, later resided in Sequim and was a dear friend of the artists.
The cougars, yes there was more than one, used in the movie lived at the Olympic Game Farm, where very special animals were trained and cared for almost as pets.
This life-sized sculpture has a wood finish intended for outdoor display.
